Here are some answers to the questions we get asked the most. If you can’t find what you’re looking for below, don’t worry just contact info@funktion.je and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

YOUR FIRST SESSION

Our sessions are designed to suit everybody, whether you’ve tried group classes or PT  before or you’re brand new! We are all about fitness (with a good sprinkling of fun) no matter your age or fitness levels so give us a try!

BEFORE CLASS

What to wear | We suggest wearing clothes which allow your body to move, ideally with some stretch! We will not require you to wear a face mask in studio, unless advised by the government. However, if you feel more comfortable with a covering and/or gloves, you are of course welcome to bring your own and wear during your session.

What to bring | Please bring a water bottle; we have water fountains at the studio and as part of our commitment to making the world a better place, we no longer provide compostable cups. Please also bring your own sweat towel if you need one.

Arrival | Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your first session, so that you can familiarise yourself with the studio and your instructor.

Studio Safety | Please arrive ready to train with minimal belongings, to keep the common areas clear and to keep your precious things safe. Instructors will let you know where you can store your belongings safely.

AFTER CLASS

Studio Amenities | Our amenities include showers and products to freshen-up after your session. We do not provide towels so please do bring one along if you’re grabbing a shower. Please note that showering facilities can get busy at peak times so we would encourage you to consider showering at work or at home if that option is open to you.   

Departure | After your session we kindly ask you to leave the studio floor promptly to avoid any guest crossover and allow time for the next session to set up safely. Feel free to hang around in the reception area for a coffee, juice and a chat though!

REGISTER, BOOK, BUY AND CANCEL!

Registering a User Account | You will need to register with us by setting up a User Account and buy a session or session pack online via our website before you can book in for a class or PT session.

Downloading our App | You can access your User Account and view full timetables online, either through the Website of by downloading the Gymmaster App on the App Store or Google Play.

Bookings + Waitlists | Schedules for all classes and PT availability go live two weeks in advance, giving you the chance to pick your favourite class or trainer. If the class you’ve set your heart on is full, join the waitlist as spaces often open up. You will be automatically added to the class should a space open up (at any time, and up to 12 hours before the class starts) and you will receive an email to confirm you’re booked in.

Managing + Cancelling Bookings | You’re free to manage your class bookings and make cancellations online, via the website or app. Just make sure to do so with at least 12 hours to receive a refund. This includes any class waitlists that you may have joined and are no longer able to make.

Managing Credits | You can share your credits with a family member, just give us a call so we can set up the link between your accounts.
